Originally from Toulouse, south-west France, I've been living in Dublin for 5 years. I love linguistics and languages, and am currently learning Mongolian and Nepali.
Although I've mainly taught English, I can also teach French and help you with your homework in beginner Italian, Chinese, German...feel free to ask!
When working with a student, my aims are:
provide him/her with a work & study
methodology that will work for him/her
make it as painless/enjoyable as efficiency
permits
* reach the goals that we've set together in any
needed areas (hey, I'm the teacher, but this is
still team work).
I also like working with various tools: the Internet, pictures, films, musics & songs, magazines & papers ...you name it.
The pupils I have worked with ranged from 5 to 60 years old, were from very different backgrounds and levels. And it's always been great craic.
I'm flexible, committed and I don't mind explaining something several hundred times if that's what it takes.
Follow-up help in between classes via email is possible too.

I have been teaching and translating languages for the past decade, in various companies and privately. I am always keen to gain more private language students.

My usual method is to present a feature of the language, and then ask questions of the student so that he/she may reproduce and practise the feature. This means that no books are required for most of the activities. Few students desire written homework, but I can set you some if required.

I am a native speaker of German. Due to my university training in foreign languages (English, Lower and Upper Sorbian) and my experience in working with students I know how a foreign language should be taught in order to achieve quickly a well grounded proficiency/how to achieve progress. I can cover all areas of language teaching (e.g. grammar exercises, speaking discourses, creative writing, composition, translation). It goes without saying that I am very patient, uncomplicated and amicable.

I'm currently living in Italy but will be moving to England (Lancashire). I've had a very good volunteering experience with kids who are dyslexic. I volunteered as an english and italian teacher, also working with kids with learning difficulties. I have plenty of experience teaching private lessons -english, italian, german and other languages- over here in Italy.

I am sociable, industrious, can easily adapt to a new environment and is not afraid to face challenges. I am also a quick learner, which alongside with being reliable, punctual and enthusiastic would eliminate problems of adjusting to any kind of work available. I have half a year of teaching experience in the university, and total of about 2 years of teaching experience in general.

I can speak three languages. One is my native language which is Turkish, the other one is Italian which I studied for eight years in an Italian High School and the last one is English which I have learnt also in an Italian High school and improved with my English husband. During my life in Turkey, I taught Italian to the pupils of my ex Italian school for three years. I have different teaching system which is not boring and the words that you learn in one hour in my lessons remain in your brain forever.
