I find it very rewarding when a child gains the skills and the confidence to overcome any difficulties they may have had. I provide calm and supportive teaching and work on confidence building as well as the acquisition of skills. I find it useful to relate teaching to what the child is interested in. I will work with children/parents to set both short and long term goals of what they want to achieve and communicate clearly about current performances and where strengths and weaknesses lie.
