Meine Methoden für den Französischunterricht sind kommunikationsorientiert: Dialoge, Texte, Rollenspiele, audiovisuelle sowie authentisches material werden nach Bedarf und Zielsetzung eingesetzt, um einen aktiven und situationsadäquaten Wortschatz aufzubauen. Grammatik und Schriftsprache werden natürlich dabei sinnvoll in den Unterricht integriert.

Neben der französischen Sprache kann ich sehr gut und auf lebendige Art und Weise die Weltgeschichte vermitteln. Schwerpunkte sind u.a. die griechische und römische Geschichte, Völkerwanderungen, französische Geschichte, der Erste und Zweite Weltkrieg etc.

Ich berate Sie gerne und erstelle mit Ihnen gemeinsam ein individuelles Arbeitskonzept. Auf Wunsch kann ich gern Referenzen vorweisen. +

I would be delighted to give lessons to determined learners, who are eager to build up their current knowledge or to start from scratch, and who are committed to achieving a certain level in a very short time, from elementary to higher advanced level, preparation for GCSE and A Level exams.


My professional focus is on improving conversational skills using fast-track techniques, intensive speaking activities, discussions, developing grammar and vocabulary, the key phrases and expressions that can be used in real life situations. Subjects of discussion covering a variety of topics: Finance, Marketing, Law and Business with an extensive usage of vocabulary and specialist terminology.

My hourly rate is: £20 including teaching material.

My Strength lies in elaborating complicated theories with analogies drawn from everyday life. Since my background is rooted in very many linked subjects, I can relate the commonalities in many fields and thus can provide an integrated and composite view of any subject I am teaching. I work by an initial consultation with the student (and parent if requested) to establish the aim of the tutoring sessions.

Together, we will identify specific areas of the course that require attention, and also take the opportunity to decide if we are both happy with the other's expectations of the sessions.

Following this, we will build a clear outline of the study plan within the given timeframe to cover all required material, and build in problem-solving sessions in order to prepare for examinations.

As I am quite young (19) I explain the material in a much clearer and more relaxed manner, which I find benefits the pupil. Another advantage of my age is that I have been put through the exact same syllabus as the student. Therefore I am able to relate to possible problems they are having, or add emphasis to particular areas which examiners find important. I am extremely patient as I can still remember what school and college was like. I have very flexible hours, and will make myself available for last minute sessions before exams etc.
