I offer lessons for all levels. With beginners I teach basic grammar and vocabulary but mainly concentrate on daily, everyday conversation. Reading and writing the Japanese syllabaries - Kana and Kanji - are also part of our lessons. I can help prepare students for VCE courses and exams and proof read, edit and generally help with University level material.
I use up-to-date texts and materials and have audio material for real-life practice. I also introduce elements of Japanese life and culture where appropriate.I believe lessons should be lively and interactive and fun. My current students have made very good progress.
